Can I use CalMate without a workplace?
Yes. Keep your own shift calendar, record your earnings and connect with friends. Your employer does not need to use CalMate.
What is the difference between personal PRO and Workplace?
Personal PRO adds features for your own use, including unlimited personal templates, access to past periods, calendar sync and group availability search. Workplace covers team scheduling, tasks and communication. The two subscriptions are separate.
What can friends see in my calendar?
You choose whether to share your working days or your exact working hours. Your earnings and notes stay private. You can pause sharing at any time.
Is the shared availability search free?
Searching for two people is free. With three or more participants, the person running the search needs PRO. Results are based on recorded and shared shifts, so an empty time in the calendar does not guarantee that someone is available.
Where do managers create the team schedule?
Weekly and monthly planners are available on the web. Managers can also add shifts in the app. Once published, each team member can see their own schedule on their phone.
What team sizes do Workplace plans support?
Plans are available for 3, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 people. The 100-person plan is available on the web. Current pricing, purchase options and terms are shown before you start the subscription.
How does the trial work?
Eligible new Workplace subscriptions can receive a 14-day trial. The offer shown before purchase sets out eligibility, the price after the trial and automatic renewal terms. Separate add-ons may have their own pricing and trials.
Which features are separate add-ons?
Table booking and shared tip accounting require separate subscriptions for your workplace. Scheduling, tasks and team communication are part of Workplace.
Which devices can I use?
Download the mobile app from the App Store for iPhone and iPad, or from Google Play for Android. The workplace planner and admin area run in a browser. The shift widget is available on iOS without a PRO subscription.
How does CalMate use my Google account data?
We use the name, email address and Google account identifier required for Google sign-in to create, identify and link your CalMate account. We do not use this data for advertising. Read more in the Privacy Notice.
